Inspired by the Adafruit design for magnetic shoelaces, I created my own for my dad to use. They use 12mm x 4mm cylinder magnets. The magnets are dropped in during printing (make sure your extruder isn't magnetic). Be sure you have the magnets facing the right direction so that the shoelaces will be attracted to one another.
