This is a quick and simple mounting plate for mounting a surge protector to metal with a magnet. Can be used for other things as well as long as you can use an m3 screw or fit a different sized heatset insert into the the 4.5mm holes. I purchased a tool cart to make a mobile station for my fiber laser and needed a way to easily mount the surge protector out of the way. You will need 4x M3 x 4mm x 5mm brass threaded heat inserts. 4x M3 x 8mm flat head countersunk machine screws 4x M3 x 8mm button head cap machine screws 2x Neodymium cup magnets with countersunk hole. Soldering Iron or Heatset insert jig Threadlocker is can make sure screws don't back out.
