A quick design to keep the MacBook Pro's power adapter cable from destroying itself (on the computer side). This fits the Magsafe 2 (not the original Magsafe).
Print laying flat, with the opening facing upward, without support.
I printed this is PLA, but it would work even better if you print it in a more flexible or ductile material, like PETG, TPU, PP. The choice of material affects how easily the strain relief bends depending on how strong the cable is pulled (PLA = stiffer, TPU = floppier).
To assemble, align a length of cable over the slot and push it in carefully. keep the connector and attached cable sheath clear of the slot while doing this. If your cable is already damaged, wrap it in one layer of tape (i.e. thinly) before pushing it in so as to not damage it.
Next, push the sheath and connector backwards into the strain relief. Pay attention that the connector and its cable sheath and any frayed parts don't catch.
Although I sort of know my way around Fusion 36
