***Remix from Thingiverse Thing 123297 by TinmanTechnology July 25, 2013.***
Mailbox bird spikes redesigned from scratch to discourage birds from dive bombing your mailbox.
The clips are designed to fit over the spikes and clip on to the spine of the spikes. Press firmly to snap over.
This version is shorter and less pointy compared to the original. This helps produce better printing results and also gives the birds less leverage to lay the spikes flat if they land on it. The spine of the spikes is also thicker to make it more rigid and able to handle the elements better.
You can use 2 or 3 clips to attach to the top of your address plate.
***Material Note:***
I used PLA and fully expect that with lots of direct exposure to the sun and sitting on top of a metal mailbox that the material will start to fail over time. I'm not sure how long it will last. Using 100% infill and having thicker parts allows it to last longer. If you're able to use a more heat and UV
