I don't know if this is a common problem but recently the X axis idler on my Replicator 2x wiggled and pulled itself from the very poorly designed carriage. On top of that the plastic bearing on the steel rod made some of the most annoying noises I've ever heard. I designed this piece to incorporate a metal Idler with a bearing as well as a more secure method of holding the bearing and rod assembly in place on the carriage. I've test fit the part on my replicator 2x but nothing else, I would assume it works on the clones but cant confirm.
I replaced the 4mm rod with a 3mm rod to use this idler:

3mm rod can be source anywhere. I cut mine longer than the factory rod as it was really loose which I think also lent itself to the issue of it popping out of place.
If you have any problems let me know and hopefully we can figur
