The threaded rods on my Makerfront i3pro are warped and not so easily straightened. The rods often contact the metal frame and make a horrible vibrating sound. One day I'll get around to replacing the rods, but until then, a couple of these plastic bushings reduces the problem quite tolerably. The bushings fit snugly in the threaded rod clearance holes on the top of the i3pro. The M5 threaded rods fit through easily but will make contact with the inside diameter if they're warped. To prevent the z-feed from popping the bushing out then just snug down a zip tie in the channel around the cylinder once it's in place.
