First, what is Mancala, Kalah or manqalah ? Mancala is a family of traditional board games with origins dating back thousands of years, widely played across Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. The game typically involves a wooden board with small pits or cups, along with seeds, stones, or beads used as playing pieces. The objective is to capture more stones than the opponent by strategically redistributing them across the board, with each turn involving picking up all the pieces from one pit and dropping them one by one in subsequent pits. Simple to learn but rich in strategy, Mancala is celebrated for its deep cultural roots and timeless appeal. How to Play Setup: The Mancala board has two rows of six small pits (or cups) each, and two larger pits called "stores" at the ends. Each player controls the six pits on their side and the store on their right. Start with 4 stones in each of the 12 small pits. Objective: The goal is to collect more stones in your store than your opponent. Taking a Turn: On your turn, pick up all the stones from one of your pits. Move clockwise, dropping one stone into each pit as you go (including your store but skipping your opponent’s store). Free Turn: If the last stone you drop lands in your store, you get another turn. Capture: If the last stone lands in an empty pit on your side and there are stones in the opposite pit, you capture all the stones from the opposite pit and place them in your store. End of Game: The game ends when one player has no more stones on their side. The other player takes the remaining stones from their side. The player with the most stones in their store wins. That’s it! Simple, yet strategic! How to Print (if you ignore my 3mf files) PETG strongly recomended. PLA works too. 0.16 layer height, 0.2 works too.
