Makes
Tone Gard for an F-Style Mandolin.
Installed on a Loar LM-310F.
To protect the finish on my instrument, I wrapped the holding pegs with Cork and covered with some tubing (or Hellerman sleeves, since that's what I had on hand). I also placed some sticky backed cork between the ToneGard and the instrument along the body pieces.
I am fairly new to the mandolin, only playing for a few months, but I definitely hear a warmer sound with more sustain when I've got this on.
