Manual Peristaltic Pump

I made these pumps primarily to test something else where I wanted to use peristaltic pumps, but needed fine control...I also just was curious how hard it would be to make a printed peristaltic pump :) Turns out, not too bad!I used 3/8" OD vinyl tubing, but it will work with anything that would work compressed to 2mm. More details on the build here.I printed mine from resin, primarily because the main bearing is integrated into the print (printed surfaces make the bearing races). So I think you could probably orient it for FDM to get the bearing races concentric perimeters to give a fairly smooth operation (although you may have to smooth down the seams).Category: DIY
