Map Rail Flag Holder

Often found many classrooms, the map rail has become a way to hang posters, decorations, and even maps.

My prompt for this project was to recreate a map rail accessory which is used to place a flag on the rail.

I went through multiple iterations, in which the main problem I encountered was making a tight fit on the rail.

Between the first version (Black) and the second version (second from the left), I decreased the clamping amount, and removed the bend in the metal which I saw in the metal flag holder. In my final version, I really dialed in the measurements and was able to achieve a tight fit.
