This is a pillar to sit behind a Marantz EQ551 equaliser and support a Marantz PM-55SE or similar amplifier. It includes a threaded jack to allow the height to be adjusted so that a minimal-sized turntable such as one of the smaller Technics is stable on top of the overall stack.
They are intended to be used in pairs.
The bottom part- the pillar- has apertures positioned and sized to clear the equaliser's signal and power cables, and a recess for a male-threaded capital Superglued in place.
The top part- the female-threaded lintel- is recessed to suit the amplifier's foot.
The male-threaded capital is a separate subassembly. This is in part so that its length can be easily adjusted, but also so that it can be printed with more infill etc. and wound in-and-out of the lintel a few times to smooth the surface of the print.
In order to assist initial fitting, the capital has a Torx recess. However once glued to the pillar this will be hidden.
