I had questions about getting the correct angle to reduce the horizontal lines caused by pixel shift.

We all know about arctan(layer height/pixelwidth) to find the ideal angle. For a Mars 2 (pixel width is 0.05mm) with a layer height of 0.05mm, this led me to a 45 degree angle supposedly being the best angle. However, I still had a lot of horizontal lines (Horizontal Lines). After being stubborn, I decided to do a little experiment.

First, I would create a set of angled planes from 40 degrees to 50 degrees by 0.5 degree increments to see the impact of the pixel shift. I would call these the coarse angles. The flat plane would be 20mm long. I would then choose the best result and create a new set of angled planes that was +/- 0.5 degree in 0.05 degree increments. These would be my fine angles. The flat planes would be 40mm long.

I printed the first set and found that 44.5 degrees was best. I then printed the second set and was able to find that 44.4 and 44.45 had sim
