This stand allows you to use standard mason jars as a bee feeder. Poke tiny holes in the lids using a small finishing nail. Ideally, to prevent robbing, feed your bees above the inner cover in an empty box. Place an empty deep or medium box on top of the inner cover to create space for the jars. Cover the jars and box with a telescoping or migration lid. For those unfamiliar: bee feed is made by mixing equal parts (1:1) of white sugar and water. Fall feeding requires a heavier 2:1 ratio to help the bees prepare for winter. Never mix sugar into boiling water, as it can harm the bees' digestive system. How to use: Fill the jar with the liquid, close and tighten the lid. Attach the holder to the lid. Flip the jar upside-down and let some liquid drain until it stops. Place the feeder inside the beehive on top of the inner cover. Please share your comments regarding your experience and any suggestions for changes
