My second attempt at a 410 lock body. I wanted it to be as small as possible and not to require any hardware.
This one prints in four pieces: two bolts, a main body, and a cap that is held on by the bolts. The bolt on the bible side is a bit shorter. At least on my printer, the threads on the bible side, which don't form a complete circle due to the cutout for the bible, don't print very well. But they seem to work just fine.
I was able to print this with no supports, and nothing functional needs them. Just print them in the orientation from the STL file. However, once I added the decorative keyway, I found it printed a little cleaner if I added supports just for that feature. You could also get rid of that in the OpenSCAD but personally I like to be able to see inside the lock and think the keyway looks nice. There's also an option in the OpenSCAD to print a chunkier body that probably works better in a vice.
I've intentionally left the shackle holes pretty tight. On
