This is an intriguing mathematical shape you can print. It has the following features --Nice to handle, all rounded surfacesThree holes! Where do they go?You can stick your finger in, go on, I know you want to.This is a collaborative effort with a friend, and is based heavily on the instructions here -- https://www.math.univ-toulouse.fr/~cheritat/boy-surface/index.html Note that this page does have STL files at the bottom, but this model is not those. It has be recreated from scratch. PrintingUnfortunately this is a fairly complicated print, as the surfaces are constantly changing. However, with automatic tree support enabled, as it is in the profile, it does print OK. Usage and AssemblySimply print it, remove the support and admire it. It doesn't really do anything.
