Qwirkle is a great game, but the wooden game pieces in the commercial product are difficult to use because they set vary tremendously in size and finish. The pieces are also very slick, which causes them to move unpredictably when you accidentally brush your hand against them. Many of the people that I play with have fine motor control issues and become frustrated when placing pieces, so I was inspired to create a board with pieces that mate together and eliminate the risk of jostling the board. When playing, just be sure to orient all the pieces in the same direction. I like to place the pieces so that the nubs are positioned on the bottom and right sides.
For a full game set, you will need to print multiple copies of the pieces. Using black filament, print the following.
18x Piece - Circle
18x Piece - Clover
18x Piece - Cross
18x Piece - Diamond
18x Piece - Square
18x Piece - Star
Then, print the following with six different colors of filament. I used red, orange, yello
