This a box to protect & mount a mavlink-OSD / minimOSD unit to a model.
Mavlink OSD is an "on screen display" electronics module used to annotate flight & model status parameters over the live video feed.
There are numerous versions of firmware that can be used on the board.
ie : KVOSD, MWOSD

This unit is the same dimensions as my Ublox GPS case.

You can use it with it's lid or stack it under the GPS case.
Screw holes in the case are 3.2mm designed for 3M metal screws and in line with the GPS case so you can run screws through both units to secure them in a stack.
There's additional holes for recessing screws as an additional mounting option.
