Hi Makers!
I noticed a lack of accessories for the wonderful mBot Mega robot.
My first need was to protect the IR proximity detectors as both the transmitter and receiver are LED form-factor and just hold by their leads. mBot Mega modules are not in a standard dimension (wider than usual) so it needed a specially made housing.

Depending on your 3D printer tolerance to overhangs, you may want to print with support.
As the STL file wasn't always accepted as is by various software, you may want to scale: dimensions are 45mm X 30mm X 15mm.

Clip the back of the detector flush with the housing and then gently thread in the screws.
The original screws were replaced with four M3x25 hex heads.
No other equipment or furniture needed.
Printed in dark grey PLA, it gives a mean look to the "tank".
Enjoy!
