Measuring Tape End Support

I made this tape measure end support in order to have the end of a measuring tape grip the material as to prevent from falling off the material being measured. The end support does not effect the distance measured. Simply push the tape support onto the measuring tape about 2" from the end of the tape. Once installed slide it towards the end stop of the tape until it reaches the stop. I simply glues on a fine piece of sand paper to the inside to allow even better grip to the material without marking the material.
