Description Tired of manually squeezing every last drop of cat food from a pouch? Do you wish the mechanical overlords would come to your aid? Is your cat a light eater that prefers only half the food in the pouch? Leaving you with a half-filled and unsealed pouch… If you answered yes to at least two of these, then welcome to the reason I made the Mechanical Cat Pouch Squeezer. I was tired of normal, boring pouch squeezers and wanted something exciting and fun to use. I also wanted something that could reseal my half used pouches, as my cat doesn't go through a whole one in one day. I also find joy in over engineering my problems, and I hope this brings you joy as well. Assembly After printing both the main and accent plates you should have the parts shown in the image: 1 Main Plate 2 Squeezer Blades 2 Threaded Rods 2 Guide Rails 2 Small Driving Gears 4 Idler Gears 1 Large Driven Gear 1 Handle Crank 1 Handle Grip 8 Push Pins Step 1) Insert the 2 Threaded Rods into the 2 Squeezer Blades. Be mindul of the orientation the squeezers, the tapered edges need to face each other in order to function properly. Step 2) Insert the top of the 2 Threaded Rods into the Main Plate. Step 3) Install the gears, the 4 Idler Gears go on the round pegs, the 2 Driving Gears go on the 2 Threaded Screws, and the 1 Driven Gear goes in the center. We will permanently affix them in the next step so just make sure everything lines up properly and that the 2 Squeezer Blades are in a good neutral position. Step 4) Use 6 of the 8 pins to lock the gears in place, they should fit with a satisfying click. If for some reason they don't you can use a little bit of super glue to keep them in place. Be careful to avoid accidentally gluing the gears and preventing them from spinning. Step 5) Add the handle to the Large Driven Gear, and snap it in place with a pin on the back. This is your final chance to make sure the squeezer plates are in a good position (not crooked) before the gear mechanism is linke
