This is a printout of 14th century font, thanks to scans from Usher Gallery and The Collection in Lincoln, see http://lincoln3dscans.co.uk/reconstructed-font/

To be more printable, the upper part with the basin was cut a bit and the inner part was flattened, additionaly, i added support structures with meshmixer.

Recommended slicing settings (slic3er): 200um, PLA, infill 5% hexagonal, for the basin, i recommend the circular top/bottom fill patern, it looks more natural.

I have two printouts, one black drybrushed with light grey, one ivory, drybrushed with grey. The ivory/grey should be more like the original limestone, but to be honest, i do not like the appearance much. I would wellcome any tips, how to make it more realistic.

The scale is 1:14,5 weird isnt it? It is because i wanted to have the font in relationship to my other font, see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1248542

Many thanks to Lincoln for their 3D scans project, exceptional !
