Medusa Bookmark Multi-Colored

A multi-color remix of the original. You should be able to scale in any direction. I have not tried it but, do what you want. You can go with a simple two color setup, like I did, or go crazy and make a bunch of different colors. Technically an AMS is not required but it sure does make life easier.
