The inspiration for this project originated with the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2149214 "12000 mA/h 18650 Battery Pack and dual USB recharger" project. I was going on a trip to Kenya and was unsure of how much access I would have to electricity. I designed and built this power bank using the same components that the original project used. There are two 4cell battery packs super-glued back to back and wired so all the cells are in a parallel circuit and connected to a single set of 16 gauge feed wires. The circuit board and battery pack are simple inserted into the box compartment without the need to glue or otherwise secure them.

I have not made a button for the circuit board switch, there is a hole one can use to press the switch with a pen or other slim object.
