This bracket is to fit inside the motor housing to add an external trim switch for a Mercury/ Force outboard. You can buy a switch that will fit in there but I decided to make a bracket to fit a switch I already had and save some $.
This is the switch I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08ZXP67FP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
When installing, I found that heating up the bracket slightly with a heat gun preventing it from breaking when installing. It is a tight fit into the housing. Install the bracket first then the switch into the bracket.
Wiring the switch is where you have to do your own research. For mine, it had 3 wires you tap into that connected to the trim relays ( red, green/white, blue/white).
