We had found that the top must be closed for the face shield to be acceptable. Another thing was that many shields fitted too close to the face, so we moved the shield farther away from the eyes and nose. You can easily wear a pair of glasses under this shield. One other thing was to make it work with any 3-holee punch, and the shield should be able to be removed and reassembled, for cleaning.
