This is a close approximation of Merlin's staff top from the 1981 movie Excalibur.
I added details on the spheroid manually using green stuff, as I had trouble getting it right in Fusion 360.
This topper fits nicely in an Ikea Hugad curtain rod... instant staff!
The "leather' wrapping is eva craft foam with some flat yarn wrapping. I saturated the yarn with a mixure of Vallejo primer and glue.
