Merry Printmas Tree 2023

A homage to 3D printing and Christmas in one ornament.

Designed to be printed easily without supports. In the picture shown, I just used a raft for adhesion. The pieces can be printed separately or together on the same bed but assembly is required.

Once printed and assembled, a LED tea light or surprise can be optionally included inside the tree base as shown!

To assemble the ornament:
Print the tree body, print head, string holder, tree cap, and tree trunk.

Use an adhesive of your choice to bond the tree trunk to the bottom of the tree cap. Glue the string holder to the print head. Next, glue the print head to the corresponding tree top. Insert your tea light or surprise (optional) and snap on the bottom cap. (Note: the inside can't support a lot of weight as the design is now, since the cap relies on a snug fit between the plugs and the holes in the bottom of the tree.)

Thread a string or ornament holder into the string holder and display/enjoy/gift your ornament. :)
