You can print it fully assembled or print the pen holder separately and glue it on later. We used 2 mm pencil lead (similar to https://www.modulor.de/en/faber-castell-lead-tk-9071.html). We recommend soft lead for the actuated pencil, i.e., the pencil that is not pushed by the user.
If you have a printer with a single extruder, we would recommend printing the parts separately. The reason is that the assembled version requires supports and ninjaflex is hard to separate. Check the video to see which areas should be glued.
