My METEX M-3650 multimeter that is 33 years old this year has suffered an accident where someone knocked the stand off it. One of the pegs breaks off and you lose the stand all the time. Anyway, my favorite multimeter still got used a lot just without its stand that puts it in the easy-to-read-the-display position.
I just copied the dimensions of the original and printed it like that. The first "prototype" I printed came out nice, clicks into place and that's where it still is. I could shave off a tenth of a mm here and there to make it fit just a tiny bit better, but this works and that's not worth the trouble.
If you have a different METEX model that might have the same stand, let me know. I'll add it to the "compatible hardware" list... I'm pretty sure there is a M-3620 or something like that, which is identical to the one I have but lacks the capacitance measurement.
I normally maintain that the design is half the cost of the object. And for ease-of-computation the writ
