To integrate my Metrix gas meter into my smart home, I designed this reed-contact holder.
A xiaomi door/window contact is used to transmit each x.01 via zigbee protocoll to the iobroker.
Some easy soldering is nessessary. The external reed-contact it soldered as bridge on the internal xiaomi reed-contact.
Both boxes are connected by 2x0.75mm2 cable, so I have the opportunity to go outside the gas meter housing with the transmitter-box.
