Mexicans at Camarón

Opposing and surrounding the French Foreign legion at Camarón were troops of the Mexican republicans, who suffered 300 casualties to the total 69 troops they had surrounded. While this battle ended in their defeat, it would go on to become part of the identity of the foreign legion.
