Mic Stand Simple Phone Rest

This model is for a simple phone rest attached to a microphone stand, or similar. The phone rest is 170mm x 85mm and is at a 65° angle. Both portrait and landscape orientations are provided (as separate print profiles). This is an accessory in the Ropeless Microphone Stand Accessory System which is a mix'n'match system for securely attaching accessories to a microphone, music or instrument stand. To attach the phone rest to a stand you will need a collar. See MakerWorld microphone-stand-collar which provides print profiles and instructions for printing a collar. Once you have assembled the collar, mount it on your stand. Ensure the slanted end of the nub is up and the flat end is down. I.e., the face that was on the build plate should be facing up. The phone rest comes in two parts. In principle it could be designed as one part, but using two parts allows for easy printing. No supports are needed. Assembly of the phone rest is easy. Insert the protruding key of the phone rest into the
