This is a simple hand-held control/holder for a micro:bit, that holds the micro;bit and its battery pack together so you can use it as a remote control for another micro:bit mounted on a robot, or as a game controller, etc. I use it with the accelerometer and radio, to measure fwd/back and left/right tilt and send messages to control a robot's speed/direction/turn rate. Use the buttons for extra functions like motor stop. IT NEEDS the sides of the microbit PCB filing flat for the clips to grip the board nicely. As delivered, the micrbit has raised sections on the side of the PCB where it was snapped from the bulk production PCB sheets. Just file these off gently until the side edges are feel flat along the length. The microswitch actuating "arms" are there to widen the thumb position and are more comfortable to press. The circles on the topside are just a prompt to press them; they don't serve any other purpose. It prints pretty quickly with no supports, face down. The batteries can be accessed without removing the battery pack from the holder, as seen in the photo. I have increased the size of the "cable clip" overhangs since the photo, to better hold the cable loop. Not tried, but sure it will be better. The only real problem (not really) is that the battery pack has no on/off switch, so remember to disconnect the cable, or remove the batteries, when you're finished playing. Easy enough. The micro:bit model I used to help the design can be found at kitronik, where they have their own "cute" case. https://kitronik.co.uk/blogs/resources/bbc-microbit-cad-resources
