This is a remix of my larger string shooter. This one was made to be pocket sized and battery powered. I made it using motors that came from a promotional toy from Target. The toy had two identical motors in it. If you have the same toy you can make this string shooter with the same motors. For rubber on the wheels I used a few rubber bands from my kids dental braces.
The laser cut parts are made from 1/8" plywood.
The funnel is held on by a 6-32 screw. I used tap to create threads in the 3D printed part so the screw could thread into it.
This is one of the two string shooters brought to the meetups at Maker Faire Bay Area 2019. Hack-a-Day Meetup and OSH Park Bringahack.
