The original wooden cheeks on my Microkorg had accumulated cracks and dings over the years, so I designed some replacements, complete with shoulder strap posts inspired by the Poly-800.
After I'd designed, printed, and decided I was happy with this design, my wife had the brilliant idea of having a hole down the center of the peg for a screw (that would need to be exactly the right length) and a hexagonal compartment at the back to capture a nut, to further improve the strength of the pegs. Maybe I'll add that to the next revision. And maybe a vocoder mic slot on the left cheek.
