This is a laser cut and 3D printed spool mount for Micromake D1 and similar (Kossel, Rostok) delta printers.
Base of the mount is laser cut from 1/4" acrylic. Instead of bearing I'm using HDD motor (it's extremely smooth). Spool hub is 3D printed and holds spindle on the motor shaft.
Mount frame is secured with four M4x10mm screws and square nuts in the OpenBeam.
Spool hub is remix of thing:605360. I modified it to fit 25mm shaft of HDD motor spindle, and my 52mm filament spool from Radioshack. It's still a little loose on HDD motor so I'm using some electric tape.
There's also a small spacer that's needed to lift hub a little so it doesn't touch mounting screws. Speaking of screws, I used three 4-40 1/2" machine screws with nylock nuts, but feel free to use 3M screws/nuts as well.
