After having original Microphone Boom Arm clamp base break on me I purchased a new one off of Amazon. To no surprise, this one wasn't the best fit, wasn't the sturdiest and broke a few months later. Tired of this cycle, I put my printer and a new spool of PETG to use and designed a base to work with the original clamp.
The Boom Arm I'm using is the RODE Professional Studio Arm (https://a.co/d/h91qS83), but this has now been printed on three different printers for three different boom arms. While the RODE arm has a slightly thicker insert rod than the other Boom Arms used, the other arms all held securely and once I get dimensions I'll upload a version with a smaller inner diameter.
I left nubs on the base of the Boom Mic Base to accommodate silicone feet that are 12.7mm x 3.556mm (0.5 x 0.14 inches) and can be found at https://a.co/d/5wiqL7s.
As this model is used under tension, I'd recommend printing it on it's side. Printing it standing up can be done with no supports, but will le
