Microsoft LifeCam Studio is an awesome small cam. I was able to get rid of every unnecessary part, file down the PCB and fit it into the eyepiece of my old Leitz microscope eyepiece. The eyepiece diameter is 23.2mm and my camera fits nice and snug.
So there is a printed camera housing,
a set of adapters that allow to place the camera into the camera port of the microscope that has a diameter of 35.4mm
The camera port assembly allows the smooth focus adjustment.

I will include the 3mf files so you can modify the parts to your needs.
