***** 06/11/2022 ****** - What happened to the Lok-Bolt for the M17? Well, a few things. Let me start by saying, I will never be posting the STL on thingiverse, or anywhere for that matter.
1. While this design works, it will eventually fail. If you ran your M17 at 280FPS, typically you were fine for a while, but eventually the stress would get to the unit and it will fail. It didn't break in the way one might expect. The body of the unit near where it is bolted to the mark would stress fracture causing all of the paintballs in the mag to shoot out of the top of the marker. Any higher than 280FPS and you would get a mag or 2 before it failed. Aside from make a huge blocky unit with a lot of material which would be ridiculous, it's gonna fail.
2. Early on I was approached by Milsig and widowmaker industries who expressed interest in buying the design of the Lok Bolt. We entered into an agreement where I feel I was extremely Low balled. They were testing the Lok Bolt at over 300
