There are a few Minecraft swords out there to print but none that I thought was easy to print, and more importantly could print face down on both sides for better quality. Also didn't want one that would take 14 hours to print. There are two versions in the .3MF, one is “solid” and the other is “less solid”. Saves a little print time and a little filament but the solid version has more heft to it if that's what you're after. Aka, I would probably print the solid version for the grandson and the more hollow version for a peanut sized grand-daughter. These are sized for a 25x sized bed, though I printed them on my H2D. At 120% size they fit perfectly on the H2D bed and are suitable for “bigger kids” :) The two halves mate together and while they are snug, I would (and do) put a couple drops of superglue here and there in the inset side. I printed mine with 6 colors, but the colors are completely customizable and you can set them for just a couple colors, or up to 9 colors if you're of a mind to. There is very little support needed, there are manual supports around the outside edge only. The internal gaps between colors should be very easy for the printer to bridge, I've printed many of these in design/testing so far with no issues other than when I left supports off the outside edge. Those outside supports are very light and easy to remove. If you have a problem bridging, add support inside between color plates.
