I wanted a way to test and swatch my filament and remember which filament was loaded in my AMS. A Benchy, a maker's favourite benchmarking tool for 10 years, is a great demonstration. Rather than using a full-size Benchy, I chose to scale it down to 30mm length in order to save filament. I created a flagpole that clicks in to the socket behind Benchy’s cabin so I can affix a label with the important information about my filament. I use a label maker with 9mm label tape to create my labels, but you could make your own label out of paper, and glue or tape it on. Using mini Benchies with flagpoles, you can line them up in front of their corresponding AMS filament slots, so you can make sure your print settings are correct. The original Benchy can be found here:https://makerworld.com/en/models/1272656-original-3dbenchy-public-domain-cad-step-file#profileId-1336828 I hope you enjoy my first upload!
