MINI CARABINER KEYCHAIN There are a few models for carabiners with snappy compliant latches, but none of them I found scale well to the very small. So I built this from scratch in Fusion. Things to note: – It prints in two parts, the latch and the main body. - It is set to ‘Print by Object’ so that the latch can be an alternate colour with minimal filament waste - Brim ears are enabled to prevent it getting lifted by the nozzle (happened during prototyping) - I wouldn't suggest scaling any smaller than the provided profile. Scale up as much as you would like though! - To assemble, you need to gently push the little tabs in the latch through the rectangular-ish hole in the main body. - You might need to press the locking bit in the latch firmly into its seat in the body, to deform it slightly for a better fit. - Clearances are challenging at this scale! If your latch isn't locking or clicking nicely, try resizing different dimensions of the model in the slicer. Hope you enjoy =)
