Mini Drak split main hatch

I felt the long one piece main hatch wasn't ideal for frequent opening and closing to access the battery. With this mid brace you cut the main hatch in half. The rear portion is captured by the brace and the stock thumb screws. The front portion is glued/taped at the forward edge and then held down by a magnet at the rear where it meets the brace. The magnet is 10mm x 10mm x 2mm sourced from hobbyking. A scrap piece of threaded rod needs to be pushed into the slot in the coroplast so the magnet can securely hold down the hatch.
