This mini functional piston is a fully 3D printed mechanical model designed for easy printing and straightforward assembly. It requires just four screws BT3X6, a TT motor, and a 608 bearing. (3D printed bearings work as well, i recommend this parametric bearing generator) Mounting instructions: The piston rod is permanently fixed to the piston with glue, while the crankshaft components are designed with a tight fit — they can be assembled without glue, or glued in place for extra security. The guide piece that defines the piston’s travel is glued to the rear wall, slotting neatly into a dedicated groove for perfect alignment. For smoother operation and reduced friction noise, a thin piece of plastic (for example, cut from a shopping bag) can be glued to the contact surface of this guide piece. The TT motor mounts from the back, with its shaft press-fitted directly into the crankshaft for a secure, wobble-free connection. Once assembled, the model runs smoothly, clearly demonstrating ho
