Mini Fuzzy Skin Test – Usage & Customization Guide This compact model allows you to quickly test the effects of the Fuzzy Skin mode in Bambu Studio. With its 3 vertical faces and editable text labels, you can easily visualize and compare different parameter combinations in a clear and repeatable way. 🎯 Purpose: To provide fast and accurate comparisons of various Fuzzy Skin settings, while saving both filament and print time. ⚙️ Default Parameters: Point Distance: 0.40 mm Thickness: 0.15 mm (clearly displayed on the cube faces) 🛠️ How to Customize Your Test: Adjust the Fuzzy Skin Settings In your slicer, go to the Fuzzy Skin settings and adjust: Point Distance: between 0.2 mm and 0.6 mm Thickness: between 0.05 mm and 0.3 mm Update Face Labels to Match Your Settings In the object list, right-click on the face label (e.g., Face A Distance Text) and: Select Edit Text Change the Input text (e.g., Distance 0.30) to match your test value This ensures accurate tracking and visual identification of each test surface. Note on Slicer Compatibility 🛑 Anycubic Slicer currently does not support text editing within the slicer. ✅ To edit texts directly, use Orca Slicer, Bambu Studio, or PrusaSlicer. Duplicate and Organize Tests Print multiple blocks with different settings to build a quick-reference texture library. The blocks can be stacked or laid side by side. 🧠 Tips: Lower point distance yields finer, denser textures. Higher thickness creates more pronounced surface roughness, but may obscure fine details.
