To build the mini marimba you need fishing line, two floats, a small spring and superglue.
The bars:
Use 50% infill for the bars and print them with detailed quality (0.1mm)
It's important to let the bars cool down before playing (24h should be enough), if you play them before they cool down they will not be in tune.
Filament: Prusament PLA Vanilla White
The bars will be tuned to the fundamental frequency in C-major from G4 to E6.
If you wish to use another color or filament type it might get out of tune.
If you wish to tinker with the tuning there is a python script that can be of use here: https://github.com/EqualsEngineering/3DP_Marimba
Resonance pipes:
The longest pipe is cut in two parts to fit on the printer, superglue them together.
15-20% infill
I used Quality: "Fast - 0.2mm")
Bar holders and resonance pipe holder:
Split in two parts and can be superglued together.
Outer frames:
Have to be turned to fit on build plate.
Assembling:
Let the glued part
