Miniature Advent Wreath

A remix of a design by bobm123. I needed something to put in a home advent kit to be sent out by the local church. I liked the idea but needed 5 candles. I modelled it in Fusion 360. The biggest hurdle was working out how to create the twist on the outer circumference. I found an excellent YouTube video on "How to make a toroidal coil" by Spark Plug. I used their method of creating a surface around a circular path and adding a twist angle, then taking the edge and including the 3D geometry in a sketch. This then gave me the path with which to sweep a circle round and then repeated for the other twist. It turned out not to bad for my first design. It definitely need supports although they are a pain to remove afterwards, especially as I've printed 50.
