Minimal Light Switch Cover Plate

Simple replacement cover plate for a wall light switch, useful if the original frame is broken, yellowed or you just want a clean, logo-free look. The front is completely plain so it blends nicely into the wall. On the back there are two small tabs where you can mount the typical metal springs/clips that many switch frames use. In my case I didn’t bother installing the springs – it fits tightly enough by friction and stays in place during normal use of the switch. It was designed around a common single-gang switch like the one shown in the photos, so it may not be compatible with every brand or standard.
