This remix mostly eliminates the need for supports. This is a remix of the 3D Printable High-Bypass Jet Engine by CATIAV5FTW (Chris Shakal). No supports are required from the slicer if my files with built in supports are used.
Significant changes:
Casing flanges. I split one flange off to be printed separately. This completely eliminates the need for supports when printing the casings and greatly reduced the amount of filament required. The flange is attached with epoxy or CA.
Combustion lining. Split into to two pieces so that no complex supports are necessary. Halves are glued together.
Nozzle Stator. Split into 3 parts and requires no supports. Parts are glued together.
Low pressure shaft. Split into two pieces and requires no supports. Parts are bolted together.
LPT spool. Split into 2 pieces and requires no suppo
