We build a lot of tiny robots! Specifically UK Antweight (150g) Combat robots, and these need tiny tools. Not just tiny, but easily portable and always on hand. That is the exact purpose of these mini tools and holder - fit where allen keys and standard drivers cannot.
As these are small, we are talking 4mm bits with tiny tool heads. Torque is not going to be an issue.
Therefore, good old Basic PLA is fine for this job, and holds its own quite admirably.
So if you need a mini tool set to throw in your bag for robots, cars or drones - you “might” find this of help.
The bits will be held pretty tightly, I tend to tap them through with a small hammer from the rear. It usually only takes a few seconds and tries to get it in the right position. The case uses 6mm dia, 3mm deep magnets (x5) to hold the tool in place - they should pop right in, but a drop of superglue cannot harm. Cover slides over the top, and is tight enough to hold in place, but easily come off when required.
Hope you a
